Melting Fear.
When I was in my last semester of college I answered most questions with, “I don’t know.” People would ask, “Yo, what are you up to this weekend?” I would follow it pleasantly with, “I don’t know.” Or the intriguing question my roommate would pose as she held up a mysterious bowl of food from the refrigerator, “What do you think this is?”...

Really, I can’t believe that question is very hard to answer. What do I like to do? It’s easy. I like to create. The harder step to the whole “growing up” process to pursuing a career is believing that it’s all...

Job: Starbucks
Starbucks, as a corporation, has great benefits for employees, great partners and super cute marketing. Let’s be honest. But why do I feel like I’m not reaching my full potential as a college graduate working there? The pressures the Bay Area transcends on its 20-something’s are monumental. Some could argue these pressures rest in the hands of Capitalism’s elite...

Goal: Write. Post. Read.
Since I started this blog, I haven’t kept it up. I want to make a firm statement that after today—after this moment—I will attempt to post one thing every day. This goal is not only for documentation purposes, but it also serves as a potential accomplishment every day. I need that. I need something to do every day; I need things to do.

It's Been A Week
So far, it’s been a week after walking across the stage without tassels and in high wedges. As of the end of next week I am putting all my stuff in a storage space, gathering my pride, and moving back in with my parents for the summer while I gear up for next fall. Hopefully the future will be filled with good times but, as of today, the summer does not look too promising. On a light note,...
